The Homestead Kids Club: Second to None in FUN!
Hey, kids! This ones just for you: Your very own Clubhouse on Cottage Row.
Days filled with games and hikes, arts and crafts, stories and plays. Water
fun and homemade popsicles in summer. Ice-skating and cocoa in the winter.
And even a special Kids Night Out (no parents allowed!). Its all part of a
great vacation adventure at The Homestead KidsClub.
Jam-packed with activities for everyone from pre-school age to tweens,
The Homestead KidsClub is available year-round, seven days a week. And
each day offers its own special theme (think Wet and Wild Wednesdays
and Animal Fun Fridays) along with seasonal treats.
Awesome Staff
Be sure to let your parents know that our KidsClub is staffed by creative,
talented counselors trained in education and child care, and supported by an
enthusiastic group of carefully selected high-school students serving as counselors
aides. These things matter to grown ups.
Story Fun
Local folklore and not-so-tall tales spring to life from the shelves of our outstanding
library. Sometimes, storytime at The Homestead is a costumed affair, and youll be
invited to join in the fun as we re-create history through play acting. And childrens
authors have been known to visit and read to our guests from their own books. Who knows?
Maybe your favorite author will stop by!
Beyond Finger Painting
Things can get messy, but its all part of finding your inner artist at our family vacation
resort. And youll come home with great, one-of-a-kind keepsakes you can take pride in from
custom-designed t-shirts and designer beach bags to bird feeders and telescopes.
Science Rocks
A nature hike is just a walk in the woods unless, of course, you can bring back all sorts
of plant life to examine under the microscope. Back at the Clubhouse, you can make your
own solar system, invent a new gadget, or design a space glider and put it to the test,
with prizes awarded to the best designs. Even the smallest tots can get in on the fun,
with edible play-dough and soapy snow.
Kid's Night Out (Saturday evenings, 6:30 10:30 p.m.)
At The Homestead, Saturday night is your night. So leave your parents behind (theyll think
of something to do), and join us for Kid's Night Out, with fun, food and games just for you.
